Introduction.

I have been collecting 3D models ever since I bought Bryce 2 in, what was it(?) 1996 I guess.
The problem (for me anyway) is that the longer you work with a program (and you hopefully progress) the more critical you get about the models available.

Sometimes there is no other way then to buy the model, you (at the moment) are unable to create yourself.
And how frustrating is it then that the model you bought, doesn't live up to your expectations, because some idiot(s) (Dosch design for example), connect every object to every object, so if you want to move the abstract object out of the scene, the frelling *ceiling* moves along with the abstract object! >.<
And how the heck does one open a door if its connected to the frelling staircase?

Then there is this stuff like TurboGreed, I mean TurboSquid. Indeed 'a new dimension' in 3D greed.
Even for the most simplest things they ask an arm a leg, plus your first born.

So here will grow (I hope) my own 3D modeled collection.
With 'tons' of separate objects so you can finally *play* with the model(s), delete what you don't need, texture different parts differently, and downloadable for a severe modest fee, or even for free, so you can hardly go wrong.

Caveat or but. (There's always a but not?)

- Everything is modeled in Cinema4D r10. That means files can no longer be opened in older versions of Cinema4D because Maxon build C4D from the ground up for release 10.

- Export to .DXF and .OBJ do not have any assigned textures.

- All given poly and point counts are for C4D only, and may be higher for the other formats.
.FBX, DXF, .OBJ wires are near identical to .C4D wires

-Where ever possible there will be modeled avoiding the use of tri's, but, exports to .3DS does include the (sudden?) creation of tri's.

-"Tons' of separate objects", will not mean that there will not be connected items, but if, they will be connected sensible. (can you hear me Mr. Dosch?)

- All models are made primarily with Cinema 4D in mind. Before you buy anything to use in other software I strongly suggest you first try out the free models before you make any purchase at all.
